Fire wise

We have been learning how to be Fire wise this term. We have been discussing the ways to be safe in a fire emergency and how to best get to our 'safe meeting place' at home. The firemen came to school to visit us in class and talk about all the fire safety rules and how to be Fire wise in case of a fire. The children all had lots of great ideas and were very fire safe and fire wise. We even got to look at all the equipment the firemen wear and why, also to get up in the truck too.

Bike and Scooter safety.

WALT: Be safe on our Bike or Scooter. 

We need to wear safety equipment like a helmet/ Pads and covered shoes too.

We had Constable Dave come back to visit us to take us for Bike/ Scooter safety and skills. He had some helpful girls from a local college, all the children used a bike or scooter and had lots of fun doing the drills and activities together. Here are some pictures of our great morning.
