Dinosaur Bones and Fossils

At the Museum we all had a time in the Weird and Wonderful Classroom to see and explore lots of interesting items that the museum keep just for the kids. Here are some picture of our class getting measured up next to a part of a very large dinosaur's leg. The children all had to stand next to the big bone and see how much taller they were than the leg bone.

We had two different groups learning lots of fun and interesting things about dinosaurs, fossils and how we know so much information about them now.

Museum Visit

The Junior school went into Auckland City to go the Auckland Museum as part of our Dinosaur inquiry unit. The children had a great time and all the activities and artifacts were really interesting and interactive for the children. Here are some photo's of what we saw and got to do.
