We have been doing 'Buddy Reading' with Room 1 this year.
Each week on a Thursday before lunch we meet our Room 1 buddy in the shade area. The children sit together and read their book to each other. The older children are very positive and keen to help with sounding out hard tricky words. Encouraging them to read aloud and listening to their stories.
